GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Members of the Fellowship
gather together at least once a year in an "Ordinary"
Assembly. If the need arises, additional "Extraordinary"
Assemblies may be called. All members of the Fellowship, from
the date of their official entry approved by the Council, may
participate with the exception of Honorary Members or Benefactors.
Honorary Members and Benefactors must be invited by the President,
and are not eligible to vote. All other members of the Fellowhip
may be represented by another member of the Fellowship, however
two is the maximum number of ballots any one member may cast
(the member's own plus one member being represented). Each moral
person may only be represented by one delegate.
Convocations to Assembly
are made by the President, either by individual letter, or by
means of any regular publication authorized to contain official
notices of Fellowship activities, or by any other contemporary
means. Any convocation must be made at least one week in advance
of the actual date of the Assembly. The summons must include:
the order of the day, as well as the location, the date, and
the time of the Assembly.
An Ordinary
General Assembly is comprised of reports from
the Council on its direction and the financial and moral status
of the Fellowhip, approvals or rectifications of accounts, quietus
of Members of the Council, and previews of the budet. Any questions
put to the General Assembly by the Council are discussed and
then put to a vote by simple majority of the members present
or represented. Votes may be taken either by the raising of
hands or by secret ballot. Secret ballots may be requested by
any member of the Fellowship. The results will be noted in the
minutes and signed by the President and Secretary.
An Extraordinary
General Assembly is convened each time the need
arises to change the statues, or in the case of dissolution
of the Fellowship. Such an Extraordinary Assembly may be convoked
at the request of at least on quarter of all members of the
Fellowship and will proceed as already indicated for an Ordinary
Assembly. The required number of members of the Fellowhip to
be present for a valid Extraordinary Assembly shall be three
quarters of the entire membership of the Fellowship, present
or represented. Deliberations will be voted upon by majority
with the exception of taking a decision to alter the essential
goals of the Fellowship, in which case, a unanimous vote is
required. Votesmay be taken either by the raising of hands or
by secret ballot. Secret ballots may be requested by any member
of the Fellowship.
