"Be Perfect, therefore, as your Heavenly Father is Perfect."

The North American Fellowship of Cathars is patterned after the French association with whom we are in accord. Understandably, our activities in North America will initially be limited, particularly because of our distance from Cathar country and the locations of the many venues already planned by the society in France.

However, the North American Fellowship of Cathars can serve us in many ways. Firstly, we are, although working with and welcomed by our friends overseas, an independent fellowship and can, therefore, develop activities nationally and internationally to promote the goals of the Fellowship, which are also the goals of our friends overseas. Secondly, we have the opportunity to gather as English-speaking members of a community interested in Cathar Christianity as a way of life, and can continue in the way of our forebears as 21st century Cathars. And thirdly, we will be able to maintain relations and exchange information about participation in all those events overseas as well as ours locally. Additionally, we are encouraged to participate in the production of a multi-language journal, Agora Néa.
